Four DAN School students participated in Undergraduate Student Summer Research Fellowships, and presented their research on November 23 and 30, 2021. The presentations were in the 3-minute format with Principal Patrick Dean and Vice-Principal of Research Nancy Ross as well as students and faculty members in “virtual” attendance. The DAN School presenters and projects were Joey Cantarutti (supervisor Dr Stephanie Lind) “Connecting Unspoken Elements Through the use of Leitmotif in ‘Undertale;” Hamish Hutchison-Poyntz (supervisor Dr Jenn Stephenson) Emergence in Participatory Theatre;” Michaelah Wales (supervisor Dr Kelsey Jacobson) Realness in Virtual Reality Theatre;” and Andie Winsor (supervisor Dr Margaret Walker) “Expressions of Queerness in Global Dance Styles.
