Brian Frommer is a professional director, designer, writer and creator in theatre, film, TV and multimedia. A graduate of Queen’s Stage & Screen program in 2000, Brian began working professionally in TV and theatre the day after graduation. In the more than two decades of his professional career, Brian has worked as a stage director, playwright, screenwriter, film director, documentary producer, director of photography, set designer, scenic artist, production manager, stage carpenter, musician and sound designer. Brian also has over a decade of experience teaching at the post-secondary level, leading courses and programs in: acting, directing, screenwriting, editing, playwriting, dramaturgy and technical theatre. Brian is currently the Production Coordinator for the Dan School of Drama & Music at Queen’s, and has two original TV series in development, as well as several design and directing commissions currently active. Brian has worked extensively over the years to find ways of integrating the wonder and magic of film with the interactivity and vibrancy of live theatre. He has worked on numerous productions as a projection and video designer, and continues to explore and experiment with multimedia.
