PIANO CLUB (LEVEL 2) for ADULTS

 

The Yamaha method of music education incorporates weekly group lessons designed to give students the best beginning possible for the development of basic music skills at any age level. Piano Club 2taught by Barbara Bolte, is a continuation of Piano Club 1 for adult beginners, honing their keyboard and ensemble skills through active music making in a social environment. This 24-week course takes place over the Fall and Winter terms, with an option for extension into a 10-week Spring Term.

2) WHO CAN ATTEND

This course is open to adults. The course will run with a minimum class size of 4 people (please refer to QCM Policy for further details regarding procedure if minimum class size is not achieved).

 

3) PRE-REQUISITES

Students should have completed Piano Club 1 or have a similar experience level.

Students wishing to join Piano Club in the Winter term without having completed the previous term must demonstrate the appropriate knowledge level reached by the rest of the class at the end of the previous term and have permission of the instructor. Students wishing to join in the Spring term must have completed the Fall and Winter term class.

 

4) COURSE MATERIALS

Pianoforte 3 textbook and CD are added to the price of tuition.

If the class moves into book 4 materials, Pianoforte 4 textbook and CD will be available for purchase from the QCM office.

 

5) FEES

Registration fee: $40 per family per year. This fee covers registration for all programs within QCM over the year
