Graham received his PhD in musicology from the University of Toronto in 2008. His dissertation focused on the intersection of Percy Grainger’s English folk song collection with the aesthetics of modernism. His SSHRC post-doctoral work examined the circulation of lute manuscripts in early modern England.
Graham’s research has been published in Folk Music Journal, Music & Letters, Grainger Studies, Knowledge Organization, and Journal of Information Architecture. His current research focuses on ways in which the materials of music are organized and presented in contemporary and historical musical treatises.
Graham is an active guitar performer in the Toronto and Hamilton areas.
