Academic Program Manager and Advisor
Katherine manages the DAN School’s Undergraduate Programs and coordinates with other University departments: annual course planning, teaching and service assignments, curriculum, timetabling, admissions, plan selection, transfer credit assessment, registration, grades, degree lists, student awards, convocation, hiring of instructors and student staff, Barefoot Players summer camps, supervision of undergraduate program staff, communications and records management.
Students are welcome to contact Katherine for academic advisement around degree plan requirements, course selection, graduation, etc.
Her over twenty-five years of post-secondary experience includes roles in Human Resources, Career Counselling, Department Administration and Education Technology Training. Also an entrepreneur, Katherine founded a successful online business to help small businesses develop an online presence. Katherine holds a university degree in English Literature and Political Studies as well as a college diploma in Office Systems Technology. Katherine enjoys dabbling in amateur theatre and loves playing her acoustic guitar.
