On March 22nd 2021 Kelsey Jacobson presented a paper on “Audiences in the Archives” investigating audiences as/by/for performance archives. This panel was organized by the Centre for Spectatorship and Audience Research and also featured Michael Wallace from Theatre Museum Canada. Kelsey’s paper asked how audience members might be invited into performance histories, how they might already be present in archives, and how audiences might be considered ‘unofficial’ archivists.
