What is TK THEO Fringe?
Join the students of DRAM 339 as we present the tricks, tribulations and tirades in our very own Fringe Festival! Created in partnership with TK Fringe, the first ever THEO Fringe showcases 11 original student solo shows, celebrating all things Fringe: the edgy, the educational, the energetic, and the enigmatic. Come join us for a two-day takeover of Theological Hall where you might learn to hate cars, love the Bard, or take a chance on the next generation of fringe shows! Inspired by storytelling, solo shows, and site-specific theatre, THEO Fringe promises to excite, delight, surprise, and defy... although maybe not in that order.
Content Advisory: Historically, Fringe Festivals are spaces where all creative control is given to the artist, with no creative oversight or censorship from festival producers or industry gatekeepers. We are thrilled to follow this same methodology for THEO Fringe, with students maintaining 100% creative control over their fringe shows and content. As such, please know that our shows include content that some might find challenging. These include stories around sexual violence, toxic masculinity, strong language, and other adult content. Specific content warnings will be delivered by our front of house before every show. We encourage our audience to face challenging content head-on, while still maintaining a care-centric performance environment that prioritizes the agency and dignity of our audience and community members.
