MUTH 340/3.0 Professionalism in the Arts
Instructor: Greg Wanless
Office: Theological Hall room 010
Through a combination of lectures and seminar presentations, MUTH 340 has been devised to provide an opportunity for class members to develop an appreciation for the business of being an arts professional in Canada. The knowledge, skills and values addressed in this class, however, are appropriate for any professional employment.
During the term, there will be opportunities for class members to develop skills in various approaches to writing through weekly critical responses, developing a professional ‘pitch’ letter as well as the creation of a major document – the Personal Business Plan.
