What do you do when it seems like the sky is falling? A contemporary take on the fairy tale classic, The Barefoot Players brings you an original theatre piece for young audiences, exploring the theme of courage. As we follow Chicken Little through sing-alongs, dances, and interactive games, we will look at how to find your courage when it feels like the end of the world. We'll laugh, we'll take some unexpected turns, we'll meet some goofy characters and learn how even one person can have a positive impact on their community.

About the Players:

The Barefoot Players is a youth theatre troupe performed and operated by Queen's Students from The DAN School of Drama and Music. We tour to schools, libraries, parks and festivals from June – August annually, offering interactive performance and workshops to students and children ages 5-12. We've been touring our devised and scripted TYA shows across Eastern Ontario for over 20 years! This year, we are creating an original devised theatre piece inspired by Chicken Little and the themes of courage.
