Student Research

Students at the DAN School conduct research as part of their coursework. In their final year, students can also apply to complete an independent research project under the guidance of a faculty supervisor through the Directed Study or Undergraduate Thesis course. Many students have also been hired to work as Research Assistants or have applied to complete an Undergraduate Student Summer Research Fellowship (USSRF).

Each Winter, the DAN School hosts the Performing Research Conference, where DAN School undergraduate students present their research work. Many students also present their research at Inquiry@Queen’s.
