Abstract
Adrienne Shannon and Joy Innis (PALENAI Piano Duo) are developing a fund-raising concert for Ukraine. In collaboration with the Isabel Bader Center for the Performing Arts, the event will be held December 8, 2022. Funds will be directed to a music school in Ukraine adversely affected by the war. A number of Dan School faculty and community groups will be donating their time to this initiative. Ukrainian journalists in the war zones have offered their photographs royalty free to the Kingston Concert for Ukraine. Research into the history, environment, and culture of Ukraine is on-going to prepare the multimedia presentations.
