Sharry Flett has played major roles in theatres across Canada, including the Stratford Festival, and the Shaw Festival.
She has been a member of the Shaw Festival acting ensemble since 1988, playing in over 50 productions. They include Me And My Girl, Major Barbara, Misalliance, Getting Married, Age of Arousal, The Little Foxes, The Magic Fire, Rebecca, Hedda Gabler, The Autumn Garden, Floyd Collins, and My Fair Lady.
Theatre awards include the Paul Reynolds Award at Shaw, and the Tyrone Guthrie Award at Stratford.
Her array of television work has been recognized with a Best Actress Gemini nomination for War Brides (CBC) and a Best Supporting Actress Gemini nomination for The Suicide Murders (CBC). Other television work includes Shades of Black, Full House with Sharry Flett, Jane of Lantern Hill, and Street Legal.
Working with young actors has taken her to The National Theatre School, George Brown Theatre School, Queen’s University, Dalhousie University, Brock University, University of Toronto, and the Shaw Festival Academy.
