FELICIA (she/her) aka Holmesy!

Hello! I’m Felicia, I’m so happy I get to be a Barefoot Player AGAIN! I was a Barefoot Player last summer facilitating virtual workshops. I came to Kingston from Toronto, Ontario. I have graduated with a bachelor’s in Music Theatre from St. Lawrence’s Conservatory program and Queen’s DAN School.

I will further study to get an Honours in Drama come Fall. I have trained extensively since high school in Singing, Acting, and Dance. I have gotten to perform in several fun musicals like The Little MermaidShrek the MusicalBeauty and the BeastThe Drowsy Chaperone (Kitty), Peter Pan (Wendy), and more. It will be my first time tap dancing since the pandemic which suits this show perfectly as you’ll find out. I’m so excited to perform a show we’ve WRITTEN and designed for our wonderful young audience! 💛

KATELYN (she/her) aka Lulu!

Hi all! My name is Katelyn and I’m a third-year drama student at Queen’s. Originally from Thunder Bay, Ontario, I grew up performing through school and community theatre companies. I was also given the opportunity to explore the production side of theatre in my hometown, which is what I have chosen to focus on since arriving at Queen’s.

Throughout my undergraduate career thus far, I have enjoyed working with several student-run theatre companies on campus, as well as with the department on the major productions. As part of the Barefoot Players 2022 team, I look forward to further developing my skills and collaborating with my talented peers. I’m passionate about theatre’s ability to make a positive, lasting impact on youth and am ecstatic about being able to contribute to that! 💗

VICTORIA (she/her/they) aka Vicky J!

Hello everybody! My name is Victoria J and I’m a Drama student at Queen’s! I grew up in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan/Alberta performing in plays and singing at school and in my community. I also play the trumpet and I write a lot of poetry (if you have any good happy rhymes, let me know 😎).

Recently, I’ve been more focused on writing my own material. I love creating new theatre and seeing what moves people! I am thrilled to share new theatre experiences with everyone as a Barefoot Player this year! We have an incredible show planned for you all, and I’m ready to have so much fun at camp! I am very excited to learn together and continue to find new love and connect with the world around us through theatre. 💜

ISABEL (she/her) aka Livie!

Hey everyone! My name’s Isabel and I am so so so excited to be a Barefoot Player this season! I come from a small town called Beaverton, so moving to Kingston has given me a ton of opportunities in the arts, such as this. I just finished up my second year at Queens and I’m a double major in drama and music with the DAN school.

I’ve been doing theatre since I was eight years old but performing for as long as time can tell. I love creating new music and theatre, so I’m so honored to be given this experience of creating an amazing team for all of you! See you soon😊💚

We encourage your children to arrive dressed in a costume that they’ve made, that they already own, or that they absolutely love as we explore costume design.
