Small Ensembles: MUSC 100, 200, 300, 400/1.5 units
First-time applicants to the Small (Chamber) Ensemble course must submit a recorded audition along with a completed application form to be considered for the course. Audition materials for first-time applicants: a single 1–3-minute video of the individual student performing works (or excerpts) of music that are representative of the genre/ensemble interests indicated on their application form. Solo recordings of works/excerpts are fine; there is no need to record an audition with a chamber group if you have not formed one yet.
Students returning to the Small (Chamber) Ensemble course (having previously taken at least one section of MUSC X00) do not need to submit a recorded audition but still must submit a completed application form to be considered for the course.
NOTE: Students will be registered into the course number that matches their current level of study. (i.e: if a student is in third year they will be registered in MUSC 315). Auditions must be submitted by June 22, 2024.
